About Superman movie, ask anyone and mostly likely you would get back a reply saying- “Oh, I love that movie.” Superman is full of romance, drama, special effects, and action. Christopher Reeve plays the role of superman amazingly. Margot Kidder as Lois Lane is fantastic, witty and yet beautiful. Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor is hilarious along with his henchwoman and henchman played by Valerie Perrine and Ned Beatty. John Williams Score is simply brilliant and sets the mood in the entire movie. The Superman myth is told well right from his birth on the doomed planet of Krypton to his childhood in a small town of Kansas and is beyond in the blockbusters of Richard Dooner. Once, he comes of the age, the young Clark Kent, as named by his Earth parents, learns the facts of his alien birth while on a voyage of discovery to Artic where he builds the fortress of solitude. He then learns his abilities and his responsibility to preserve justice and truth by hiding the superpowers that he posses. The movie Superman was amazingly directed and played by several stars. The movie won 4 Academy Award Nominations and a Special Achievement Award for its groundbreaking special effects. This film inspired the birth to the modern comic book movies with the usage of high-budget special effects in compassion to some low budget films, TV series that were produced before.
